H.R. 2995

Small Business Liability Reform Act of 2007

Introduced:
07.11.2007 [House]
A vote on this bill is still pending. Further analysis may be available when the bill comes to a vote.
The Legislation:

The Small Business Liability Reform Act limits Americans’ right to receive legal compensation if they are harmed, for example, through a faulty product or shoddy service, by a business with fewer than 50 employees. The middle class opposes this bill, which would allow these companies to dodge responsibility for businesses decisions that harm ordinary people.
